It isn't a reaction to any medication. E45 and steroid cream helps a lot also.
Thankyou so much for information. So did you find any treatment as itching really pains
1) Have you stopped your heart medicine which causes skin reaction or find any substitute for that medicine(deplatt(Clopidogrel)).
2) So its been 5 yrs now of your first angioplasty and still you are facing the same problem?. Any other treatment or medication for skin you have found or just immersing my hands in hot water will work.
I've been getting this on my hands since my first angioplasty in 2007. The itching drives you mad and the fluid which leaks seems to leave a very dry area of skin which can crack unless you use lots of moisturiser. I did see a dermatologist in hospital and she had a good look at the spots. Not sure if it's the right diagnosis, but she said it's pompholyx. There is no cure, but if you google this, you will find a lot of information. What really helps with the itching in my case is immersing my hands in hot water. It seems to relieve the itching for a few hours at a time.
