Regurgitant Lesions

I have Cardiomegaly (my heart is moderately enlarged) and my Left Ventricle  is swollen. I also have mild concentric left ventricular hypertrophy. An echocardiograph that I had done, said that I have definite Regurgitant Lesions.

My question is: What are Regurgitant Lesions and what disease(s) could cause them?

Thank you,
Joe

Wow! Thank you, for the great reply. I really appreciate you giving your time, to answering my question. You've explained everything, so well. Your information will go toward helping me to find a diagnosis for the affliction, with which I have been suffering, all of my life. I have been compiling a complete medical history (including photos), for over a year, now, and I am almost finished! Once I have added the final details, I will be submitting it, online, giving the world the opportunity to try and crack the code that no Doctor has been able to crack, thus far. I venture to say that, most people (namely, medical professionals) will find it to be the greatest medical challenge that they have ever faced!

Thanks again, for your help. Have a great night!
Joe

Regurgitant lesions relate to the backflow of blood into the upper chamber rather normally pumped into circulation.  The cause can be valve leaflets do not proper close the valve opening such as mitral valve prolapse, the valve opening can be malformed.  Sometimes when the left ventricle enlarges, it skews the opening of the valve causing back flow  Or the cause can be a congenitally structual abnormality or viral infection (rheumatic), etc.
