Side Effects Of Azithromax?

I have heard that Azithromax can have a heart-related side effect. i have a mitral valve prolapse, and am concerned about it. I refused it a few months ago, which annoyed my regular doctor, but just started it because an abcess where I had a tooth pulled almost 2 weeks ago seemed not to be responding to Clindamycin. (it was the oral surgeon who pulled my tooth who prescribed it this time.) I noticed the first day I took it, I had vague chest discomfort, but it didn't last. I have taken it for 3 days now, and each day I have noticed it on and off. I have 2 more days to take it. Should i stop? Should I go back to the Clindamycin? Thanks!
