Side effects of Medication

I am a 47 year old female. Could the medications I am currently taking (100 mg of Tenormin, 80 mg of Lasix, 20/25mg of Prinzide, 3000 mg of Potassium, 20 mg of Zocor plus two inhalers for Asthma) affect my ability to have a sexual orgasm?
Thank You.

drugs do more damage then good I recommend i good chiropracter.I had constent heartburn and was on medication until my chiro came to the rescue.I found out that 5 people died from the drugs i was on .drugs kill a docter could not give me a scientifc explenation on how my chiro is helping me with my heartburn.my dr said if it works then great what a week excuse.dr are affrid that after so many years of studing for them to be wrong and disagree with chiro care is saying that there scared of the truth.dr will always treat the problem but not the cause of the problem.they kill people for a living and get paid what a joke. But to me the smartest people on earth are chiros, especially mine.

Without a doubt beta blockers can stop you from having an orgasm...it's extremely frustrating!  I'm told that as a "classof drugs" beta blockers interfere with orgasm (they list that they can make men impotent).  You can ask the doctor, perhaps if you change from the ternormin, another beta blocker might not affect you this way.

Hear! Hear! I'm on Metoprolol 40mg a day and it has had a devastating effect in this area. I wonder if there is an alternative?

Beta blockers can cause sexual dysfunction and are the most likely culprit, if one of the medications you listed is in fact to blame.

Hi Dawn:

Yes, beta blockers are known to have this side effect. You don't always see it listed as a side effect for women but it probably  affects them as much as it does men.
