Sleeping and CHF

Does one tend to sleep all the time with chf?  My Mother is at end-stage heart failure.  She is sleeping all the time.

hi, my husband has end stage chf and he sleeps a lot, and all night,he seems exhausted all day, but no severe coughing.

Sleep time may the result of medication.  Congested heart failure (CHF) often impairs sleeping as the lungs get congested when inclined resulting in severe coughing spells, and hyperventilation.
