Stent Pain

What can cause chest pain after 2 stents?  It concerns me that my chest aches almost all the time.  Occasionally I get a sharp pain or pinching feeling.  Anyone have any answers?

Hi, I had a stent implanted 7 years ago and a year later, had the same chest pain with shortness of breath. They performed another cardiac cath and found out the stent had fractured into three pieces. They say it is due to the scar tissue from my open heart surgeries years ago but have been having the same stabbing pains in my chest but the docs keep telling me the stent isn't the cause of my pain and all other tests are negative as well.  I don't understand why the stent wouldn't be the problem because I didn't start having these stabbing pains in my chest until after the stent broke. Hope you find an answer to your question.

I went to the ER with chest, jaw and arm pain.  They put in two stents in the cath lab.  I did not have surgery.  I don't know if these pains are cardiac or not, I just know I didn't have them before all this started.
