1. Less than one percent and less than one percent for dying from a heart attack in the next couple of years.
2. Your symptoms don't sound cardiac at all. You won't need any cardiac testing, but to get to the root of the problem consider non-cardiac workup for your symptoms.
3. That's what's usually done.
Thanks for the replies, you are definately making most of my anxiety go away, i'm trying to put all of this behind me but I guess I just need to wait to hear my results before I can move on.
Also I dont have rare pvc's some days are good and some days are bad just like everyone else, some nights I get 8-9 pvc's in a row without a normal beat until I jump up and make my heart rate go up to kick it outta rhythm, I guess I just cant get over these other symptoms happening all of a sudden, I;ve never had chest pain or arm aches until all of this started happening, maybe it's anxiety but i've delt with massive anxiety since I was 13 and I know what stress/anxiety chest pain feels like and this isn't it. But once I hear that theres no problem my whole lifestyle is changing, i'm basically at a stand still right now, the only thing I can think about when I get the chest pain is heart disease.
RBBB is typically an incidental finding and is often seen in young healthy people. Years of no exercise, fast food...You're only 17. You haven't been arond long enough for those factors to be of anyy significance. What are your cholesterol levels? More importantly, your LDL. PVC'S are not an indicator that you have heart disease. Daily arm aches are also not a symptom, it would be more of a sudden onset radiating pain. Unless you've been laying in bed and not moving, you can very well have strained a muscle without even knowing it.
If you skip over to the "Heart Rhythm Forum" you will see that there are people there that have lived for years upon years with more frequent occuring PVC's than your rare occuring PVC. You may never find the answer to why? You are very young and need to get on with your life. Waiting around will only create further anxiety on your part which can also be linked to your symptoms.
I'm just woried I have heart disease because all of my symptoms fit, PVC's,Arm Aches,Chest pain, and I have a RBBB and from what i;ve read it says that it could mean there is some underlying heart disease. And I havn't been living a healthy lifestyle, fast food alot and no exercise for years, and then all of a sudden I get pvc's and the rest of the symptoms at the same time. I havn't done anything to strain my arms.
1. If I got my heart rate to 215 without any chest pain/discomfort/shortness of breath what is the possability of me having heart disease? Slim to none
2. For the past 2 weeks I have been having really achy arms and occasional chest pain, If the test comes back normal would this require further testing to totally rule out heart disease? As for the achy arms, probably related to muscle strain and occasional chest pain is probably gas or chondocondritis. If the test is negative, it's negative and no further tests will be done.
3. Would the doctor have called me the same or next day if he found any heart disease? You wouldn't have left if something there was something wrong. Cardiologists are very busy Dr's, some will not even call if all tests are negative. They're busy making calls to the folks that have real problems. Take no news as good news and start living your life.
I guess I'm wondering why you think you have heart disease if your only symptoms are rare PVC's?
