Stretching and passing out ???

Has anyone experienced this; when you start stretching, you feel like you will pass out or actually do????   My son who is 13 has this issue.  I didn't believe him at first, but he can actually demonstrate it now.  If you have had this or know of someone who has this, what did you find out about it?   I have been trying to find info on this online but have come up empty-handed.
My son has some history w/ passing out and now wonder if it all was because of his stretching.  I of course told him not to stretch anymore while standing or sitting.  I will be calling his ped. cardiologist soon to inquire, but wanted to see if there is anybody else having this issue.  thanks

I also have come close if not passing out at times usually when stretching arms behind my back for several seconds then putting them back to regular hanging by side, feels like but never have actually passed out yet. But I think there is a possible underlying issue here, that doctors may not know much about. I have got no remedies for this accept I feel faint headed when I do this stretch.. My brother actually told me that his chiropractor advised him that he could do that stretch a few times a day to limber up from sore mid to upper back and so that is what a chiropractor has mentioned to me too, when I brought it up in their office for a visit. You are supposed to do a few different stretches. It's just probably a loss of circulation of blood in the neck or head and back area. It's like standing right away
from just sitting position for a long period of time. It's normal, sort of. But ask your doctor.

I have this - I honestly thought everyone did.
Now that I know I have insufficiency, I have it on my list to check with the doctor when I go for my first follow up next week.  I do not have high blood pressure but I also am an athlete and likely would have high blood pressure if I didn't work out so much.

When I started my Martial arts training many years ago, I felt some strange things going
on during stretching and exercising. I would feel very light headed which was often accompanied by nausea. I would then feel a strange wave of numbness come over me
and my ears would almost stop working. I visited my GP in the end because I couldn't
believe it was due to unfitness. It turned out I had very high blood pressure. Just a very
small dose of Ramapril (2.5mg) was enough to stop all these symptoms. It could be
totally unrelated but it did ring some bells.
Maybe it's trapped nerves or something else.
