Test result question

I was diagnosed last week with dilated cardiomyopathy. I had a blood test done: is a ProBNP level of 2066 bad? That was my result of that test.

Anyway, if it is reliable (it can be influenced by kidney issues) that measure only confirms your dilated heart.

Do not worry too much, some of us have it higher than you, the only thing that matters is how do you feel.

I'd suggest you discuss this reading with your Cardiologist, as those of us on this site aren't health professionals.
