The best blood thinner, IMO, is alcohol..in large doses.  Alcoholics never have a clotting problem.  LOL.

Tsk Tsk..........yes, I have seen people bleed out from varices.........Coumadin will do that too, just ask Thatch.  That is why you have to get it just right. ( the amont of liver damage)  One more disagreement and you too will be reported.

Oh goodie, another chance to disagree with you!  Alcoholics develop severe clotting problems when their livers are destroyed by the alcohol.  I guess you never saw one bleed and bleed and bleed and bleed and bl........from esophageal varices?  I am surprised at you also for your frequent recomendations of alcohol to cure things!  Haven't you heard that it destroys heart muscle?/  Hmm?  (not to say I don't enjoy my appletinis now and then)  Don't most people on this site recommend Zanax instead?

Ch Thatcher 1956 was a great vintage!! Really as far as fatty acids go it is a no brainer. Every cell in the human body needs fatty acids and CoQ10 to function properly and everyone should make sure they get enough. Those who have concerns about blood clots have to do the same thing all the time. Added or subtracting anything in the diet needs adjustment. I quit taking St John Wart when it didn't help with the depression, I am now convinced was caused by long term use of diuretics and not keeping my minerals balanced, and not getting my protime taken and getting my warfarin adjusted put me in the hospital with warfarin poisoning. I am extremly lucky I didn't bleed out. When I was admitted to the ER, SOP is to put in a stent. Blood squirted from my arm and went all over the wall. Then I knew why it felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest.
A shot of vitamin K, some bad food, uncormfortable bed and a kind nurse to wake me up every 2 hours in case I might fall asleep, and I got to go home to recover the next morning.
Life IS a cabernet,( if you drink it each and every day in the same amount).
