Twisted aorta is often referred to as a tortuous aorta and there are abnormal twists and  turns, etc. and can be caused by high blood pressure over a period of time.  It may or may not be serious, if serious free flow of blood flow is impeded and that can cause the left ventricle to enlarge, etc.  Manage blood pressure is an appropriate treatment, if serious operational intervention may be the option.

Spine degeneration is likely to be an separate issue and not much information provided to make any connection.
