What is wrong with me?

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read this. I am 21 years old, and I have been experiencing symptoms for almost 2 years now. Here are the symptoms (I do not know if they are all related or separate things are going on). I am a medical mystery to my doctors:

- Tachycardia from walking/mild exercise - sometimes I get tachycardic just from standing.
- Excessive fatigue
- Feeling hot more easily
- Difficulties breathing and dry cough. It feels like I can't get enough air in - that's the best way to describe it.
- Visual disturbances. When I move my eyes up, to the left or to the right, I get grey or black holes in my vision. Floaters as a cause has been ruled out.
- Numbness in the right hand side of my feet, legs and thighs when I sit down for a long period or lay down flat on my back for even a few minutes.
- Tightness in my neck and shoulders (thoraic tightness, I think the doctor called it).

Bloodwork showed low growth hormones, low PTH and low vitamin D levels.

Aim at 60ngr of 25-hydroxyvitamin D in your serum.

The Vitamin D3 is better (faster) than the D2.

You can take it in daily doses of 2000-5000 IU or in weekly doses of 50.000 IU.
In 4-6 weeks you should note an increase.

How are your levels of CA & Mg? Probably they also need to be treated.

For the visual and the GH problem, has you checked with a neurologist to see if there is any problem with the pituitary ?

No, they put me on Vit D supplements but it has still continued to drop. I am in the "moderate" deficiency category.

I have noticed I become tachycardic mainly when I stand/walk and my heart rate seems to become normal (under 100) when I sit down again.

I forgot to mention that I also have unexplained hypertension since this all began.

They do not know why my PTH is low or my GH . My thyroid is normal and I do not know about sexual hormones. I do not have anorexia.

Thank you for the reply :-)

Some of your symptoms can be explained by low Vit. D which in turn it is also explained by low PTH.

Have your doctors already corrected those deficiencies?

Have you got any reason for the low PTH and GH?

I assume your thyroids and sexual hormones are O.K. and you have not suffered anorexia.
