When to reduce medication

I've been on 10 mg. lisinopril for a few months. My blood pressure was about 144/88 in docs office when I started. Now it ranges from 130s/75 to 90s/60s. Usually it's about 115/73. I get dizzy sometimes - like in morning yoga when I stand up. When do you recommend reducing dosage - or maybe reducing the day before yoga?

thank you.

Don't reduce the dose, just take it at night, so that by the time you do your morning yoga your blood pressure will have stabilized.  If that doesn't help I would then consider decreasing to 5 mg daily.

Thanks. I agree with you that 110 over 70 is ideal -especially at 60 years old. It's just that I don't know what it drops to in yoga and at a few other times when I'm feeling dizzy. But I'm grateful that the lisinopril works well.

Hello, I'm new at forum and I'm not  doctor, I'm also seeking also for help, the same as you do
In the meantime I will feel free to comment your question . According hours of reading and controlling my own blood pressure.I don't think that 115/73 (if reading is correct) is really low pressure.I think that 110/70 is nowadays considered as ideal and perfect blood pressure.

Sorry for stopping by, Hope you don't i typed even it is not neither real help or advice.

Take care,

Bruno
