Hi Howard,
I'm sorry you are dealing with all this stuff now. I'm wishing you the very best.
When I mentioned to change the "subject" of you post, I meant to start a new question. Here's what to do:
1) Copy what you have written in the post above ("My Dr has advised....is coming from.")
2) Scroll up to the top of this page, and click on "Post a Question" (green box).
3) In the SUBJECT line type: "Afib and Ablation Info Needed"
4) Then go to the blank box and "paste" your question
If you have any trouble, please let me know and I'll post for you. If you want to contact me, scroll over my screenname (momto3) and "Leave a Note" or "Send a Message" I'l be happy to help in any way I can.

Hi Howard,
Try posting your question with a subject of "Afib and Ablation Information Needed" I know there are people on the forum that have gone through the medications, cardioversions and/or ablations.
Wishing you the best!

Afib. had shock 5 times, on cumadin & unable to keep regulated. Howard
I have had two ablations for PVCs and both were successful. Other members have had ablations for Afib or SVT. Do you know why your doctor would like you to have an ablation?
For me, it was a blessing. I used to have thousands and PVCs everday, then developed PVC-induced cardiomyopathy. I was given Versed and Fentynl before the procedures and was very comfortable (I don't remember much of anything). The doctor successully ablated and the cardiomyopathy resolved.
Do you have any specific questions? We will be happy to answer whatever we can to help you with the decision process.
Have a great day!
connie

Hello and welcome to the Heart Forums.
I see that you are looking for information on ablations. How can we help? What type of ablation? Are you trying to decide whether to go ahead with the procedure? Tell us a little about what's going on, and we'll do our best to help you out.
