after care

my great nan has recently suffered a mild heart attack at the age of 90! she was told they couldnt opperate on her, but would if she was 30 years younger, which is understandable. She now has to take tablets for the rest of her life, and was told to lead as normal life as she possiably could. Is there any restrictions of what she should and shouldnt do, and what would these tablets actually do for her?

Medication to reduce the heart's workload would be the proper regimen.  That would include medication to dilate vessels, reduce blood volume, maintain normal rhythm, increase contractility, baby-coated aspirin if not contraindicated.

Your great nan should be able to do normal activities, or any activities that do not cause chest pain and undue fatigue.  Activities that have some aerobic benefit would be helpful.
