after mi

I had an mi three weeks ago with total occlusion of LAD. Now I have a stent. Cardiac catherization report says: "left ventricular ejection fraction is 35%. There is significant hypokinesia and akinesia in the left anterior lateral, apical septal, and basal-septal areas.

What does it mean? Is there any chance that those changes will ever get better?. Will ejectin fraction improve?

Please help

The hypokinesia may recover more, as the cells are now receiving more oxygen the damage could repair. I doubt if the akinesia will improve, usually this means necrosis, cell death. To really answer your question, nobody can say 100%, only time will tell. After a period of around 3 months, any improvements are generally as good as they are going to get. You will require a follow up echo scan to see what improvements have appeared.
