I'm told by my cardiologist that baby aspirin (81mg) is extremely important to maintaining my cardiac health.  I'm always trying to find a way to quit taking it, as it causes a lot of bruising on my arms, but must agree with Jesus, talk to your doctor before eliminating from your daily routine.  Ed is right, you won't have side effects when you stop taking the drug, but your blood won't be as thin.
I'd not listen to any of us on this or any board, I'd talk to your doctor.

But please, before doing it, be sure your cardiologist agrees. Depending on your condition can be very risky.

There is no weaning, you simply stop.
