blood pressure question

should i be worried i see a cardiologist every 6 months for my Coronary artery disease i do take medicines one is atenolol for blood pressure today my blood pressure reading was 154/104 then she had me stand and it was 144/96 that was taken by 1st nurse. my regular nurse comes in and just chit chats with me gets me relaxed and re does it this time it was 138/84. the doctor did not seem concerned he said if its up in 6 months we can increase my atenolol. could i of just been nervous? or could the 1st nurse maybe of messed up they still use the old fashion blood pressure machine.
tomorrow i will go buy a machine any one know a good one to get thats easy to work

i just bought a generic automatic blood pressure machine from wal-greens.  I take my blood pressure 3x's a day as directed by my cardiologist.

Your BP can definately be elevated by a dr. visit and that is probably why he didn't seem to concerned about it.
