breast, rib shoulder pain

as i sit here reading all this, it's good to know that others are going through the same thing i'm going through ,5 montha ago i was hopitalized with breast, rib, should pain so bad i thought i was having a heart attack,  every test you can think of was ran on me stress test, all kinds of heart stuff. aftera 6 day stay i was no closer to knowing why i was having the pain. i was sent home with pain pills and mucsle relaxers. and it's been 5 months and i'm still in horrible pain.  so i clearly understand how you allare feeling. nothing has helped me no tums none of these things have helped but i take precid on a daily basis. any suggestions plz let me know. the pain can at times be debilating.

Meanwhile, has you seen a rheumatologist? Could it be Costochondritis?

I'm sorry that you have been gong through such a difficult time with symptoms that have not been controlled (or diagnosed).  On the optimistic side, however, is that if you had a complete and thorough cardiac work-up (ECG, blood work, echocardiogram, stress test, and even a cardiac catheterization), you can be reassured that this is not coming from an underlying condition related to your heart.
