can anxiety cause 24/7 lightheadness and feeling like passing out sometimes?

I've been lightheaded, for over 2 years now. Not the room spinning, but like you've rode to many rides at Disneyland. Off balance, heavy feeling. But sometimes bad enough that you are sure your going to pass out. I hate it! Had my heart checked said it looks fine. Same with my ears, had an infection once. Took antibiotics but it did nothing to get rid of the constant dizzy feeling. I can't even drive a lot of the time. Feel nauseous quite often too. Sorry if I'm jumping all over the place. Just spent my last day of vacation at the emergency room. Said he thinks its anxiety/acid reflux, and maybe menieres.Just looking for some answers. Thanks everyone!

I have experienced constant dizziness for months on end that turned out to be related to anxiety.  No doubt about it, for when the situation I feared was over, the dizziness was gone instantly.

However, I have also had other episodes that were related to inner ear problems.  They tended to come and go, though not so dramatically as episodes of Meniere's, for example.

If you have not yet seen an ear, nose, and throat doc or a neurologist to be evaluated for inner ear problems, it sounds as though it is time for that.  Two years is long enough.  There are tests that can be done for inner ear function as well as for certain cranial nerve problems.

Is it a constant thing, or does it have a kind of pattern to it?
