if you are having( or had) a heart attack, while doing stuff around the house, could you have been cleaning through it & then seem ok or is it just an anxiety related thing?

Ed is correct, you could have a heart attack with few or no symptoms or it is more likely that you have a heart attack and don't recognize the symptoms as they are different for everyone. Typically, if the heart is experiencing damage or cell death which is the definition of a heart attack, there will be some weakness, discomfort and a loss of tolerance for exercise or movement at the very least. I don't know what lions, tigers or terrorists have to do with it. You should see your doctor, not a zookeeper:)

We could really use more information as to why you are concerned.

Hope this helps,

Jon

People like a clear response as easy to understand as possible. We could all be cryptic to the point of gibberish, but what would be the point? That's my point.

I certainly understand your concern but your post really doesn't define your situation. I'm completely confused, how did lions enter into the post?

Like Ed said, the answer is yes.  With my first heart attack, I felt the chest pains all day long. That was a Friday and I was at work. That evening I went to the ER but left after an hour because no one seemed to take it as an "Urgency".  All weekend long I felt the chest pains and went on back to work on Monday. I went about my normal activities at home and work.   I decided to go back to the ER that Monday evening and the EKG didn't show a lot. The Echo and blood work did show a heart attack.  I did not need  intervention at that time, so I returned to work the day after getting out of the hospital.  With the last heart attack I had this year, it has taken some time to get my energy back.  I am still working on that, and that was in February.  I believe that is your question. My question to you is have you seen your doctor? Why do you ask if it might be anxiety?  That makes me feel that you are trying to decide if you have had a heart attack or not. If there is any question, you should be seen by your doctor.  Ally

I think the label  "heart attack" is a misnomer. Heart can  never be equated with a lion, tiger or terrorist etc. It is a pathology of arterial/veinal clotting only This is an ailing/weakened condition and not a lion condition.

The answer to both questions is yes. However, the heart attack depends on a few circumstances. Some people feel very little pain or nothing at all when having a heart attack. This is why some people are shocked to learn they've had one when it has been revealed on a test. After a heart attack you may feel fine, but some heart muscle would have been killed. How much depends on where the clot formed. Depending on how much heart muscle has died, and the location will determine how well you feel after the attack.
