chest pain and severe headaches

Hello just wondering if anyone has any insight. I am a 37 year old female-very thin-(eat health and active) low cholestoral and low blood pressure (usually around 98/50). I do have family history of heart disease=dad had triple bypass at 43=both his parents died of heart disease.   Recently I have been experiencing chest pain off and on both on my right and left side.  Just to give you some history-I also get very severe headaches with much nausea, vomiting and general upset stomach. I also believe I have Raynaud's-(fingers and toes turn white sometimes blue)during bad migraine or in air conditioning and sometimes have numbness/tingling in my arms and especially fingers and have been told I have mitral valve prolapse with moderate reflux.  I recently went to urgent care due to a very bad migraine with vomiting-the night before I had also had chest pain for about 10 minutes and then vomited.  at urgent care they sent me to the ER because of an abnormal EKG-they said their was a possible blockage. to make a long story short everything came out normal (EKG/chest X-Ray) and they treated me for the headache/nausea and released me.  I have still been having off and on chest pain and ALOT of nausea. They tested my gallbladder and it is okay.  I was wondering if 1. I should see Cardio for this and 2. if severe headaches can cause chest pain or vice versa.

thanks so much for your time.

Ally, I've been researching the very same symptoms for my wife.  She's had severe daily headache for 9 months, has raynauds, and is now experiencing random chest pain. She also has migraines about every 2 weeks.   Our internal med dr has pushed us to neurology and my wife has been on every class of migraine drug, etc with no relief.  We've been in ER several times just to treat the headache pain...  However, my wife has no identified cardiological issues but we've yet to see a cardiologist.  I asked our Internal Med Dr if we should and we were told no.  So, did you get any answers from the cardiologist?  Have you been treated?  Are you feeling better?  Please share, so I can help my wife get back to a normal life!!  Thank you.

You say you had chest pain and they did an EKG and chest X-ray, but you do not mention an echocardiogram.  Was this done?  If they suspected any type of blockage I would certainly follow up with a cardiologist and further testing.  Take care and keep us posted, Ally
