my apologies for wasteing your time-- my posts dont seem to get answered---
can anyone have any idea?? really need some suggestion..
Heart attack and stroke would be so unlikely in you. Your chest pain isn't cardiac but I think it's provoking some anxiety in you causing you to have these atypical symptoms. I wouldn't have any more tests done.
So you think it's pretty much just in my mind. I feel papls too. Just today i was having palps. How can you b so sure that it's not cardic? any other idea what you think could be?
thank you
Hey There!
Cleveland Clinic could be right but I would not settle with it. If you are experiencing a chronic problem, something could still be wrong however you need a doctor to work with you, listen to what you are going through and treat it properly. Even if it's just anxiety, a mild anxiety tablet to get it under control is beneficial as this will allow a doctor to see if it's just that or something else.
I really hope you feel better soon. I know it's awful to feel things and not know what's wrong with you. Remember though, the human mind is very powerful and dwelling on something can produce other things, especially coming online and driving yourself crazy looking things up on google. Take a break from the internet, go get an anxiety medication and figure out what's going on.
I just scheduled for stress treadmill test for tomorrow. I talked with a new cardiologist and he says there nothing wrong with but still like to see how i do with stress treadmill test..lets see how it goes..thank you..
Hi guys. I had my stress treadmill test today. I reached to 198 BPM in prolly 15 min. of walking inclined treadmill and I got exhausted and while on rest it took me quite a while to return my heart rate even after 20 min rest my HR was still 110-115. Dr said I have few extra beats but he is not concerned. Dr. said he is kind of concerned that my heart is taking a while to come down but he doesn't want to put me on medication. He told me to see him after 6 mo.
Today all day I have my HR around 100-110 and i don't feel too good either.
What should i do next any suggestion please.will be appreciated.
You have symptoms of chest discomfort, but you are young, and repeated tests have indicated that your heart is normal, apart from maybe a little tendency to beat faster & longer for a little while after exercise. In other words, you have been told that you're OK, the evidence indicates that you're OK, but you don't feel OK.
It's important to note that people with heart attack are sick and in pain. They have severe pain, they literally cannot breathe, and they are often covered--drenched--with a weird kind of cold sweat that very few people have experienced. They cannot work out, to say nothing of wandering around the house doing normal things like going up stairs. You have not described living with these symptoms.
You might want to look up da Costa's Syndrome:

There is an excellent chance that you one of a group of people who are unusually sensitive to what's happening in your body. This can lead to a kind of disabling anxiety. Based on my own experience with this kind of thing, I really would recommend a visit with a good counselor. Some of the SSRI medications can give you a break from 'listening' too closely to body signals that really don't mean much in terms of health.
Hi...
It sounds very much to me like you are suffering from a mild case of anxiety when you have your "chest pain" as it is causing you discomfort as well as the fact that no one can tell you exactly what is causing the pain. Understandable. But I would also try and relax a bit, and not worry so much. Believe me, you will more than likely know if it is truly a heart attack. I had my first when I was 40 years old, and it was the worst pain I have ever felt in my life. It was a "crushing" pain in my chest, felt like an elephant was sitting on my chest and wouldn't get off. About an hour after the pain set in, my left arm went totally numb, as well as the left side of my jaw. Although not all heart attacks come with such pain, as my second one I had no pain at all, I just didn't feel right, but was having a heart attack anyway. The pains probably would have set in if I had waited. However, yours does sound like a bit of anxiety over what is causing the pain, and why no one can tell you exactly. Sometimes we don't always know where a pain is coming from or why, it just is. But you've been to multiple physicians and multiple tests have ruled out any type of heart problems, perhaps you need to see if there is something in your life that is causing you anxiety, but your just not realizing it. Best wishes to you...
