Hi sessa333
My guess is they don't think it's urgent but want to do further tests to rule things out, to be on the safe side as they would with anyone presenting with those symptoms.
I would be inclined to ask them directly though. I would ask what the results were, and what did they see that leads them to want to see you again.
update...
I have not had a sonar done....I went to the doctor on Monday and they sent me for an ecg...now they have called me back and said they need to follow up with me but the closest appt is Jan. 21....I can't help to worry that there is something wrong but I think if it was urgent they would bring me in right away??
does anyone have any advice...
Hi there.
Have you over had an echo/sonar of your heart? It might be a good idea to ask your GP for a referral or go and see a Cardio for a heart sonar. Not to scare you, but palpitations (the crazy feeling) and chest pain and even migrains can be indication of a heart abnormality. Maybe valve-related or arteries.
Please let me know if you had an echo done.
