clean cath 3 years and 8 years ago mra kidney artery stenosis

I am 46 year old male 5"10  255 lb   I will admit that I have high anxiety . My hdl levels fluctuates between 32 to 41. ldl hovers between 90 to 120 , triglycerides about 140 to 170   total cholesterol usually averages 177 for the last 6 years,  I had a clean heart cath 2004, and 2009 .  2005 MRA results 20  percent kidney artery stenosis  .  Had mra done because of  uncontrolled high blood pressure. I have PACs and  has been recorded on ekg .I have gerd and some mild scaring on esophagous Sometimes I have . chest pains and  discomfort  in left shoulder and  , tingling in index and ring finger , sometimes in middle of chest  but I think due to gerd. Last couple of weeks I have been awaken in bed  by chest burning or pain .  I will drink some water and it went away.  I did the calcium score test last year and it was 0 which I know there is some disagreement in the medical community about the accuracy of this test .    My question is should I repeat another  treadmill stress test to rule out any possible blockages and how long is a heart cath good for ?  I am afraid being mark a hypochondriac by my gp and cardiologist but I know my body and they are not in it .........I am . thanks.

Hello and hope you are doing well.

Typical cardiac pain or chest pain can be felt as a tightness and worsens with activity or exercise. As the last test was done three years back, you can have a treadmill test done. This is non invasive also.

Hope this helped and do keep us posted.
