diastolic dysfunction

Hello,  I would like to know if anyone can share with me their experience with diastolic dysfuntion.  What symptms do you have.  What meds you have been prescribed.  I always feel short of breath with mild exertion, I get tired easily and get swollen ankles.  I do take furosimide and accupril.  they don't seem to helo much though.  thank you so much.

SORRY I MUST HAVE PRESSED A BUTTON TOO MANY TIMES. WELL I CANNOT HELP YOU WITH YOU PROBLEM BECAUSE I HAVE THE OPPOSITE . MY SYSTOLIC PRESSURE IS BETWEEN 189-150. I AM NOW TAKING BENAZAPRIL40MG AND ATENOLOL200MG AND POTASSIUM TAB. THE DR. TRIED FELODIPINE 5MG AND IT MADE MY LEGS SWELL UP IN5 DAY SO MUCH HE TOLD ME TO  STOP IT FOR A WEEK . IN A WEEK THE SWELLIJNG WENT DOWN AND I STARTED ON 2.5MG THIS TIME IT ONLY TOOK 3 DAYS FOR MY ANKLES TO SELL SO BAD I COULDNT WALK.  SO I JUST STOPED IT  TAKING; IT'S BEEN ABOUT 3 WEEKS NOW AND M Y ANKLES ARE STILL SOME WHAT SWOLLEN.ESPECIALLY WHEN ON NY FEET FOR A LONG TIME. MY DIASTOLIC RANGES AROUND 75.
I SURE HOPE WERE TA;LKING ABOUT THE SAME TGHING AND SOMEONE
CAN BE OF ASSISTANCE oOH I HAVE HAD HGP FOR 27 YEARS.
ONE DOCTOR DID AN EKG AND TOLD ME I HAD SCARRING ON MY HEAR
ANYONE KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS
