excessive heat with a heart condition

hello, i am a 21 year old female (very healthy BMI, low blood pressure, etc). four months ago (feb 19) i had a heart attack, and still have lingering issues from it such as my heart is still swollen and my EF is only around 38-40%. My cardiologist still is not letting me get back into my normal routine which was distance running, spinning, etc., he only gave me permission to brisk walk.

my main question is this- in the summer I work on the beach about six hours a day, and often it is veryy hot and humid. someone recently said to me, 'are you still going to be able to be on the beach this summer since your heart condition', my immediate reaction was yes, of course... but then I started thinking maybe I should get an expert's opinion. Will the heat cause any problems for me? Or do you think I will be A-OKay?

Thank you!

You should check with your doctor regarding the heat.  My mom could not take the heat when she had heart problems.  Her face would get very red and swollen.  She was very uncomfortable with the heat.
