great news for Amber

Happy Holidays to All   Amber had a visit to her cardiologist yesterday and we were given the results of her last holter and her echo... EF is now at 55 and the very best news was that the amount of PAC's are down to 10,000 on 48hr holter and the amount of SVT was a great big 0!!!  absolutely no SVT on a 48hr holter!!!   when we began this journey with her new drs at Univ of Mich she had 738 SVT, then with the start of digoxin they were 238 now there is none...  this is the best news since she got the diagnosis of cardiomyopathy over 4 years ago   I was very worried at this appt because a month ago i broke all the bones in my ankle and had plates and screws put in, and I figured that of course something would go wrong with her appt because I broke my right ankle and can't drive until march, the whole murphy's law thing lol....  so to all of our friends here we wish you all a very Happy Holiday and a healthy New Year...  thanks to all   Dawn

All young people go through that stage too. When they have their own place, they seem to let it get messy just because they can. All my kids did that. But when they started losing things in the mess, they started to put things away again. Funny how they have to learn the hard way. And that Mom and Dad won't keep buying them new things just because they've lost the others.

Take care of the ankle and I wish you all an exciting New Year full of smiles. :-)

Happy Holidays to you and yours... Amber is doing much better in her condo, we were able to get another day per week of support staff since my accident since I can't drive but she is doing quite good.  There were a couple days when my husband had stopped by and her house was a mess but I reminded her that I am not only her mother but also her landlord... told her that if she can't keep it clean I would have her come back home until I could drive again... amazing how fast she got it cleaned up!!  She now realizes that although I can't drive to check on her my husband can (her place is on his way to work)   Have a very Happy and Healthy New Year... Dawn

That is amazing progress for her. I've thought of you and Amber now and then, just wondering how things were going. Sorry to hear about your ankle though. That must have been pretty serious to require screws to put all the pieces together again. I'm glad all the appt. scheduling worked out.

And how is she doing in her apartment? More independent and confident? Cooking more? I bet you're proud of her.

It sounds like you're headed for a pretty good Christmas then. Take care of that ankle. No skiing or snow boarding. Just sit, drink your hot cocoa and celebrate with your daughter. Hugs to you all.   irene
