I would make an appointment with your GP and ask about work. Personally, taxi driving would seem ok, but you should be on beta blockers which will help with the stress and keep your blood pressure down.
I would check to see if DVLA requires notification of a heart attack and your insurance company. Most insurance companies don't seem bothered but I do seem to remember something about DVLA needing to be notified.

I had my heart attack on a Monday, stents went in on Tuesday, home on Friday, back at work on Monday.  But I am an active person and my job is running a payroll company from an older couple's home. Very little stress here. And the option to take a nap or break is always there.  What did your doctor advise?  My discharge notes just said "activity as tolerated".

This is something a cardiologist should tell you. It depends on a few factors, such as have you suffered any permanent damage, and what kind of job do you do. In other words, how strenuous is it. There is also the consideration of stress levels in the work place. Have you not been through cardiac rehab? they explain all this to you.
