heart skipped beats

Sometimes when i hold my breath subconciously my heart will skip beats  feels like its a dropping feeling,,
Is this normal?

Thank you for your response,,I do have slight mvp  with mild regur, also mild regur of  the 3 other valves with some calcification..My cardiologist dosent seemd concerned i just have regualr echos every 6months,My e/f is 75% Also i do have pab premature atrial beats  .Again my cardiologist isnt to concerned, Any advice?

It may be entirely normal for your heart rate to vary slightly with inspiration, breath holding, and expiration. If you feel that your heart is racing, fluttering, or skipping beats regularly, it may be worthwhile to visit your doctor for further evaluation. Also, if you feel lightheaded, dizzy, or have episodes of fainting, these symptoms should be futher investigated further.
