heavy heart beat feeling of passing out

I am a 29 year old female. I am a fit 140 pounds. (i run every morning, though it has become difficult-- my heart rates are climbing through the roof -188bpm this morn--not normal for me) I have had palpatations now for 13 years off and on.  Dr.s say this is not uncommon. However, lately I have been experiencing a consistant "heavy heart beat", like its working hard, not fast, just hard. This is combinded with the feeling like I'm going to pass out.  I have had what I can only describe as hormonal issues too-- left breast has painful lumps that go up into my arm pit. I have had an ultrasound on my breast and 1 on my ovaries last year.  Everything looked normal, though the lump is still there. I am worried now about this feeling like my chest is going to explode & I'm going to pass out.  I wonder if this could just be stress related?? Or should i find another doctor?  I live in a VERY rural area. Any advice is overly welcomed at this point.

You may have health issues issues that in part related to the heart.  It is true as your  doctor states palpitations are not uncommon and harmless, but you have concomitant issues of fast heartrate (arrhythmia), etc. and there may be a chemical imbalance systemically and a thyroid disorder.as well.

Some of the symptoms of late could be stress related, but you should have a doctor rule out any serious disorder.
