Hello Ken,

I had my Mitral valve repaired in 2008 and I am doing great!  We moved to Australia about a month ago and I got the all clear from the Visa Doctor and a great report from my Cardiologist.

I see you have a purple flower now :) congrats and thanks for the great work you are doing here.  I hope that I can also help some people through my experiences.

Your symptoms appear to be heart related especially chest pain and possibly a concomitant issue that may or may not be secondary to a heart issue!

Thanks for your question and if you have any further questions or comments you are welcome to respond.  Please see your doctor to rule out any serious heart conditon, especially if you are having shortness of breath.

Hi Smiley, how long has it been now since you have had your valve disorder treated?  It appears everything has gone well for you and that is good news :)

A heart attack is not the only cause for those symptoms but you really should get seen by a professional soon. Trauma can cause such conditions. I remember I had those exact symptoms when a very heavy object was dropped on my hand on a building site. I nearly passed out too.

I was shocked to see that you came to the forum while having these symptoms!  Hope you have seen your Doc after this had happend.

The heavy like feeling and sweating and then loosing control of bladder and sight? that is definitely worrysome symptoms and you should get to your doctor.  If it was a mild heart attack they would pick it up with an ECG and check your bloodpressure, etc.
