A systolic of 236 is high, but possibly not too high.
You probably started the test with a already high bp? During the stress test, the bp gradually increases.

During my cycling stress test, my systolic pressure went up 80 points (from 170 in rest to 250 at peak performance). My cardiologist was not worried at all about it.

Important is that your diastolic pressure does not go up.

thanks..my exact numbers were 230/86 after 7 mins. and 151 bpm which was 98% of predicted max for my age. I guess okay..
