A related discussion,
Left Venticular was started.
What does "Left Ventricular Prominence" mean?
What does "Left Ventricular Prominence" mean?
What about incomplete right bundle branch block in conjunction with already diagnosed left ventricular hypertrophy, right atrial enlargement, mild MVP, hypertension to hypotension, tachycardia to bradycardia, tricuspid insuffiency, etc., in another teenager who is an athlete? Is this of more concern (we are seeing specialists next week and I would like to be armed with information so that I can ask educated questions).
Thanks!!
I'm not sure what you mean Brian but I don't think there is too much cause for concern here.
Concerned yes in a panic no. Just think if it becomes complete the heart stops.
Left ventricular function is the pumping muscle of the heart. Mildly depressed means it does not seem to be pumping quite as much as expected. It may be normal. Incomplete right bundle branch refers to an electrical conduction pattern that is considered benign. These would have to be taken into account with the entire picture but in general are benign.
