low heart rate

Heard a story about a woman who passed out and her heart rate was so low that she was pronounced dead and brought to the morgue, where she soon woke up like nothing had every happened, and this had happened to her a couple times in the past so it wasn't random. Was just wondering if this was an actual disease or syndrome of some kind and what the name of it was.

I think I left out the detail for the reason she passes out, if she got really excited, happy, or upset that was the reason she would pass out I guess almost like paralyzed they said

Hey redqueen42

I am not sure if this is a common enough scenario that I have encountered till date.
There are certainly conditions wherein the heartrate might drop to levels which may be incompatible with life. However, it is almost impossible that these arise all of a sudden without antecedent symptoms of weakness, light headedness, fatigue and so on.
I would say that this sort of a scenario is anecdotal and would require more information before I can characterize it further
Hope that helps
