my daughter is pregnant

Hi
I am totally stressed out, my 19 year old daughter has a history of acute myocarditis and dilated cardiomyopathy, then happen when is was 3 years old, she was on meds for a long time, until a few years ago.
I only found out yesterday she is pregnant and her last period was the 22nd April, I booked her an appointment to see our gp, but she cant be seen until next week. I am so worried because she has no energy for a long time now.

Many thanks
Gayle

Pregnancy can cause many physiological changes and demands on the body. Given her history of cardiomyopathy in the past, I would suggest speaking with your OB/GYN regarding appropriate tests that may need to be done and/or follow-up with her cardiologist, especially given her symptoms of fatigue.
