Since having my triple bypass 5 weeks ago, I have been unable to achieve an erection. Is it the meds that I have taken or what...

With your attitude, I think you are going to have success.  I bet your partner is not worried at all.

Well dear lady I appreciate an answer from a female... LOL... I was very worried and deeply moved by this failed experience... I will be patient and hopefully the little general rises again...

They tell me that my progression is way ahead of where I should be... It just worried the hell out of me when I could not perform sexually... I have never had this happen before... thanks

LOL, ed34, just what I was thinking, but I wanted to wait for a male to say it.  I thought it would be inappropriate coming from me, a female.

Habs69, I'm wishing you all the best in your recovery.  I hope your doctor can help with this.

yes it can be a side effect of medication. It could also be the trauma you have been through with surgery. I have to be honest and say that achieving an erection was FAR from my mind just 5 weeks after surgery. You must be a very fast healer.
