omega 3 fish oil is sufficient for thinning blood

I have a family history of stroke and was concerned as to how to manage this. I have tried baby aspirin but have noticed a lot of bruising from it. I take omega 3 fish oil 1200 mg twice a day with 2.4 vitamin E in it. I wondered if this was enough to keep my blood thn enough to prevent stroke since my Mom and Grandma on my Mother's side both had strokes?

have you tried taking the aspirin but not the fish oil? How about cutting the aspirin to get
an even smaller dose?

Have your blood tested for thickness at your doctor's office.  That would be the only way to know how thick your blood is currently.  My dad goes in to have his blood drawn every 3 months to check the thickness.  He is on Coumadin to thin his blood due to an irregular heartbeat.  An irregular heartbeat can increase the risk of a blood clot.
