pain on left side under breas and dull ache on left side chest area

I was told by tests i have a haital hernia ,ulcer on my ephosagus and damage tissues on my lung from smoking the question is i'm having pain on my left side that feels like an dull ache in my chest is this my heart on could it be because of my ulcer can the conditions get worse that i have and cause this pain.I stop smoking 10yrs ago.

Yes, a hiatal hernia can mimic a heart attack and give you chest pain. That is why your stress test, echo and EKG are fine...and also, why you have been prescribed Prevacid, which is a drug that reduces stomach acid.

thank you  took stress test,echo and ekg all was good.So can a hiatal hernia and a ulcer give me pain like this and what can i do about it i'm taking prevacid.

Because of your history of smoking your risk for coronary artery disease isn't low and I would not blow this off.  i would suggest being seen by a cardiologist and having  a stress test done to assess for any significant coronary artery disease.
