pressure in chest

I have just been told I am in heart failure, haven't seen cardiolist yet, but been to ER to have fluids drained, was given medicine till see doctor.....still getting some fluid back in my ankles/stomach, have a cough again & this morning experincing chest pressure, not pain........ I think it is anixety but am not sure what to do, should I go back to the ER??, there isn't much fluid right now, or just hold off till I see a doctor???  the pressure is come and go & really think it is stress..... but I guess maybe that is to be expected not knowing for sure what is going to happen, the ER  ran the test  & the markers were all negative for a heart attack, & said my heart problem was mild so once they got the fluid off sent me home, but the pressure is worse this morning than it has been... don't want to make a trip to the ER if not needed but it is bothering me enough to be concerned & wondering what to do........

I would definitely go to the ER, as kjohns said, when it comes to your life, every trip is worth it.

I remember when mother had CHF, she would be OK sometimes in the morning, then BINGO, at night, without warning, she would get short of breath and we would have to rush her to the ER, sometimes this happened even after she had been earlier.

So, not to alarm you, but just because all is calm now, doesn't mean it won't act up later, it can be sneaky.

We are all here for you, you are not alone, I know I am sure thankful for these groups.

When it comes to your heart, you need to go in to the ER, just to make sure that everything is alright. I think everyone on this website will tell you that every trip is worth it, because life is too important not to take seriously.  I am 32 with heart rhythm problems and everytime I am having PVC's I always go in.  I wish you the best of luck and I hope you get better.   We all need to help each other, because for some of us there is no one else out there that knows what we are really going through.  I know that when it comes to the heart or any other serious problems, it can be really scary.  But you are not alone, again I wish you the best.
