Headache

Hello.

I have had a continuous headache that lasts up to 2 weeks at a time starting last year.  This kind of headache occurs about every 3 months (roughly).  The pain is on my left side of my head covering my left eye, my left ear, and then goes down to my left neck and left shoulder.  After the third day, the veins on my forehead and around my left ear start to pop up, and you can see them clearly.  By then, the pain killer that is prescribed to me (Migrazone) does not work.  I have been going back and fourth to my family doctor, and they could not give me a reason why I have this headache....Please give me any suggestion, who I should see....

Thank you.

Dear Rani,
I would suggest starting in the neurology forum and search postings under headache.  This forum is cardiology related.

just a suggestion -- since this is a cardiology forum, you might want to also try posting your question on the neurology forum that the Cleveland Clinic has.  They may be able to answer your questions more in relation to your headaches.

I hope you feel better soon.
