results of thallium stress test

My thallium stress test results were:  moderate pefusion abnormality of mild to moderate intensity in the inferoseptal and apical regions     slight soft tissue attenuation inferior lt consistant with gut artifact    hypokensis of the septum   suggestion of a small degree of inferoseptal ischemia.   Have been referred to a cardiologist but would like to understand what this means.   Thanks

Consistant with gut artefact means the tracing was produced by means outside the expected source such as chemical, electral noise (stray signal), mechanical obstruction, etc.

Hypokinesis of the septum...septum is the wall that separates the left and right chambers and the test suggests there is some impairment of movement that can be the result of damaged heart cells.  Small degree inferseptum ischemia indicates the vessels that provide blood to the septum is mildly reduced due to (usually) blockage.  Worst case scenario.
