sclerosis and regurgitation

hi, im marlou 49 yrs old, i had undergone 2D ECHO and this were the CONCLUSIONS: NORMAL LEFT VENTRICULAR SIZE, THICKNESS AND SYSTOLIC FUNCTION, DILATED LEFT ATRIUM, MITRAL SCLEROSIS, AORTIC SCLEROSIS WITH MILD AORTIC REGUGITATION, PHYSIOLOGIC PULMONIC REGURGITATION...just need more explanations on this, thank you

The mitral valve is the one-way pass of blood from the upper left side chamber (atrium) to the lower left ventricle to be pumped into circulation.  The report indicates some mitral valve insufficiency and that can put higher pressure with the left atrium causing it to dilate (enlargement).  

The aortic valve is the one-way pass for blood pumped from the left ventrical into circulation.  There is mild leakage and that is considered medically.

There is some leakage from the valve that passes blood from right ventricle to the lungs...degree of leakage not listed.

There doesn't appear to be any serious problems shown on the report.  Thanks for sharing
