Hi, pheochromocytoma is a tumor of the adrenal glands. It is a rare, catecholamine-secreting tumor derived from chromaffin cells. It results in the release of too much epinephrine and norepinephrine, hormones that control heart rate. Hence this tumor causes sinus tachycardia. Regards.
