to young to have a stroke!

my 16 year old neice has been having heart pain 4 about a year with migranes. she has had tests and cat scan and blood work now she had numbness in her face and arm (left side) she went to the hospital they did a cat scan and sent her home they say they cant find anything wrong with her she has been ona heart moniter and nothing here it is 5 days later and her mouth is still dropping.. she is scared and her doctors say there is nothing wrong with her...thank you for your time jcat241

Have her see a good pediatric neurologist, not just the family doctor. The first thing i thought of was Bell's Palsy as well.

Perhaps her face droop is due to Bell's Palsy. I had a friend that had that just during her pregnancy. Once the baby was born, it cleared up but I'm sure she wasn't thrilled with the slightly slurred speech and droopy side of her face.

If she's having a droop on one side and her doctors tell her there's nothing wrong, it might be good to get another opinion.
