understanding echo results

Was told my 14 yr old son's echocardiagram was normal but #1 finding reads there is a false tendon seen in the apex of the left ventricle. overall left ventricular  systolic function seems to be preserved estimated around 50%. in some views the septum appears to be hypokenetic.  also noted  acroos the tricuspid valve is trace to mild tricuspid regurgitation.  What does this mean?

The EF is low normal.  Hypokenetic is a decrease in movement of the septum.  The septum is the wall that separates the left and right heart lower chambers (pumping) and the degree of a loss slightly impairs movement and slightly compromises cardiac output.

Mild tricuspid valve (opens during pumping phase and closes during filling) involves an insignificant backflow when the valve should be closed.  Almost always it is not of any concern and not uncommon..
