was this a heart attack?

My mother, age 96, is mentally alert, but has some mobility issues caused primarily by arthritis. Still, she tries to get out every day. Last week, she went to lunch, came home, and vomited, which is rare for her. Her skin felt warm to the touch. For the next two days, she felt dizzy and stayed home in her nightclothes. But on Sunday, she rallied enough to get dressed, go out for lunch and have an animated visit from her children and grandchildren. She is completely back to normal, has played bridge and gone shopping since then. She thinks she had stomach flu, however, she may fit the signs of a minor heart attack. It's now a week later and her symptoms are gone. Should we do anything, i.e. alert her doctor and/or take her in for an exam?

To coin a phrase, better safe than sorry.  I would be concerned about the dizziness.  So many reasons why this happened, but it would be a good idea that the doctor had this noted in her chart.
