what tests to have

Hello  Doctor   I am a 34 year old man  with a 12 years total smoking history (on and off again),   I am also rathre overweight by about 50-pounds,    I have been having symptoms of lightheadedness lately,  and nausea,   and funny feelings in my chest,    plus i get palpitations and  when  my emotions run high, or i get excited about something  my chest starts feeling bad.

See,  if I start experiencing emotions,  laughing,  crying,  any sort of  "human experience", my heart begins to feel weak and maybe palpitate,  and I may too become disoriented,  and lately I have lost my concentration and feel lightheaded all the time.

Sometimes very strange is happening to me  and I feel nausea alot

Please tell me what tests I should get,   based on what I read  I think a stress echo and cardiac CTA?

I would advise you to get a resting EKG and an event monitor to see what happens to your heart rate and rhythm with these ' human experiences'. Sometimes the heart rate goes up or down in a normal manner, but this is sometimes mis-interpreted by some people as abnormal heart beats. It is impossible to say without knowing what it was during the event, for which you need an event monitor.
Nausea and lightheadedness are sometimes symptoms of myocardial infarctions, especially in the inferior portion of the heart. If these symptoms continue and are severe and are accompanied by chest pains you should obtain emergent medical assistance. But I suspect that, because of your age, this is not the case at this time.

For example does it sound like it could be an over production of "stress hormones"  aka-i need an endocrinologist,    or something like that?
