what third world viruses cause heart failure?

Hi, my daughter died in mid July of a pulmonary embolism. she was 35, had recently given birth, was in the hospital a few months earlier with the flu.. the coroner sent samples to the UW for analysis, and they came back with a third world virus attacked the heart. ( they told the coroner and coroner told my son in law, who told me) and he does not recall the virus. I am very curious as to what this might be. she has not travelled outside of the US for well over two years, and we went to Mexico for a week. I have tried all kinds of searches to understand why my daughter died. I am at my wits end, and it would be great if a heart specialist can help me understand in some way.
