wife has a clogged artery due to scar tissue from open heart surgery 10 yrs ago

She had open heart surgery 10 years ago and due to some problems went to doctor.  Found out she has 1 clogged artery from scar tissue  form heart surgery. The surgery recommended now cariesa high risk of loss of  life.  I found on line an enzyme  called  serrapeptase claiming it can remove scar tissue.  My question:  Is there any other options out there, please?
She does not want to just sit around and do nothing, her quality of life is important to her too.
Any other procedures or anything out there  to consider . Your time will be greatly appreciated ....please.

No known enzyme is going to cure graft stenosis unfortunately.

The only alternative to surgery you'd have would be stenting. The prerequisite here would be that the graft would have to not be completely occluded.

Im going to go out on a limb here and assume she probably have a sephenous vein graft?

I went to some conferences lately where there seemed to be a very agressive push toward stenting in situations we normally wouldnt stent. So if you can get her doctor to admit that it is **theoretically** possible to place a stent, you could make a case for it.
